Engine and Transmission

Staying true to the original genial layout brought into creation by Italian engineer Leo Tonti in the 70s, the Guzzi Stone maintains the classic transversal 90-degree V-twin configuration, but its performance is futuristic. A V-twin, 4-stroke, 744cc capacity engine with a torque of 60 Nm at 2203 rpm is nothing if not modern.

Standard dual channel continental ABS system and Moto Guzzi Controllo Trazione (MGCT) traction control , working in seamless tandem with the 6-speed gearbox and dry single plate clutch mechanism consolidate to deliver pure riding pleasure in the truest Moto Guzzi fashion.

Chassis and Additional Features

No slouch in the looks department, it features blacked out parts extending to the tail light assembly that contrast magnificently with the chromed-out silencers, instrument cluster, shocks, and the engine’s aluminum cylinders, bringing with them a sophistication that’s rare with such vintage design.

A lowered saddle, new engine position, and foot pegs give riders the pleasant impression of being ‘in’ the bike and not ‘on’ it. The re-stabilized rear axle has increased suspension-negative travel by lowering the Cardan final drive output 50mm, allowing for greater tire grip during load transfer, both in braking and during direction changes.

A superior metal-constructed fuel tank allows for a record-breaking 5.8-gallon capacity, enough to take riders 310 miles non-stop.
