The 2016 J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder Bike Show was hot on the road across America. The show featured a series of ten stops in the Progressive International Motorcycle Show, the world’s largest competition for custom bike builders. The show hit locations in California, Oregon, Florida, Texas, New York, Illinois, Ohio, Minnesota and Arizona as hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts converged on venues to witness incredible creations from the country’s most talented. The perfect treat for custom motorcycle builders they got the amazing opportunity to showcase their talent for thousands across America to see!
The University of Phoenix Stadium stop was the competition’s last and enthusiasts were present to see over 400 motorcycles on display! Of course, these incredible designs included sleds from the likes of BMW, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, and Vincent, among the greatest players the show has seen!
Freestyle Results
Phoenix’ Freestyle first place winner was Lupe Aguayo for his 2014 Road King, while second place went to Ryan Gore for his 1977 FXE. The Hot Bike Editor’s Choice award went to Lupe, and the Street Choppers’ award to Ryan.
MOD Results
The J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder MOD Harley class winners were Louie Villa in first place, and Louie Franconi in second place. The MOD Custom class first place winner was Spooky Fast Customs for their 2015 Ducati they called Spooky Fast Scrambler, while second place went to Wide World PowerSports for their 2016 Indian Scout they called Indian Scout Reverse Tike GT.
The MOD Retro class winners were Dr. Moto Concepts’ Max Droog in first place for their Concept2, a 1981 CM400, and Andrew Starkman in second his 1977 XS750 he called Roast Moto 008 coming right behind.
The 2016 J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder Bike Show, an event with a scope that is second to none in the world, was a great tour and its Phoenix stop was exciting! Custom motorcycle builders and motorcycle enthusiasts had an awesome experience and a whole lot of motorcycle fun!
