Yamaha launches FZ1 superbike for Indian market

Superbikes are now slowly picking market in the Indian market as well. Japan based two-wheeler giant Yamaha has launched a high end sports bike the FZ1 which is a 998cc motorcycle at a price tag of Rs. 8.7 targeted at high end and sports bike users. Yamaha in the past has also launched the iconic R1 and the MT-01.

The fast FZ1 is popular in Europe. The company claims the FZ1 can have a 170 mph top speed. The new bike has a compact design with 998cc DOHC 20-Valve engine. It is a new bike that has a fuel-injected power that gives the rider a 272 kmph top speed. The company has claimed that riding the new FZ1 will be an ultimate experience for the riders especially the superbike enthusiasts as it delivers a comfortable riding position and a good riding experience.

The Yamaha FZ1 will be competing in the market with the Kawasaki Z1000S, Suzuki Bandit and the Honda CB 100R. The new FZ1 will be available in two colors white and black and will be available at a price of Rs. 8,70,000 ex showroom price Delhi.

The best part of Yamaha FZ1 is its price range and the price has been fixed lower than the Honda CB1000R which has so far remained the cheapest of other imported superbikes.
