Kawasaki to launch 2016 Z800 ABS for US market

Motorcycle giant Kawasaki has announced that it is all set to launch its Z800 streetfighter to the US market. The machine is already sold in the European market since 2013 and it is now chance for the Americans to get a touch of the mid-level streetfighter. The Z800 features aggressive styling that is similar to the popular Z1000.

Some of the major features of the bike include 806cc four cylinder, 16 valve engine. The ECU of the Z800 gives instant gratification at the throttle while the fuelling is provided with a 34 mm Keihn throttle bodies and sub-throttles to ensure constant deliveries regardless of the throttle position. Kawasaki aims to increase the life of the engine with the large 1.2mm piston cooling oil jets with a low friction camshaft chain.

The bike meets the mandated noise regulations but still Kawasaki says that the 2016 Z800 ABS has been tuned so as to have a streehtighter like growl. The engine has been placed at the high tensile tubular frame with a steel swingram and a cast aluminum subframe that completes the chassis.

The new Kawasaki 800 ABS comes in Metallic Spark black and Flat Ebony with a price tag of $8399. Just the residents of California will not be able to have a hand on it as the bike is not yet certified for the state.
