Ducati unveils its new Multistrada 1200

LatestMotorcycles.com: Italian motorcycle company Ducati unveiled its new Multistrada 1200 at the EICMA show in Milan. It is expected to be one of the most advanced and sophisticated bikes in the Ducati line up. The new bike has improved graphics , but is less important that the changes that have been made in the Testastretta engine.

This means that the new Multistrada is the first Ducati that will have the latest evolution of Testastretta 1, 198 V-Twin that features a revolutionary Desmodromic Variable Timing with Dual Spark Ignition and secondary air bleed.

  • Some of the features of the new Multistrada 1200 include
  • Inertia Measurement Unit with wheelie control
  • latest Ducati Skyhook Suspension
  • Electronically managed semi-active suspension
  • Latest Bosch Cornering ABS that prevents Brembo brakes from locking a wheel when it is leaned well.
  • Non-adjustable 48 mm inverted fork
  • New Full LED headlight with corner lighting technology and additional peripheral lighting for the Multistrada S.

The Multistrada S has been priced at $ 19,695. People who are interested in one of these machines then it is recommended to have the Enduro Pack accessory that includes engine crashbars. extended skid plate, radiator guard, auxiliary LED lights and off road footpegs.
