Yamaha has manufactured successful naked standard class bikes over the last the few years and has produced great models like the FZ-07 and FZ-09 (MT-07 and MT-09 abroad) making exits from the previous retro-offerings. This year, Yamaha is expected to take its models a notch higher by releasing the new 2016 Yamaha YZF-R3 that is compact and features a steel tubing frame made from trellis that tightly encloses the 41 horsepower which has a capacity of 321cc- 67.0 x 44.1mm. It has a liquid-cooled engine.

The bike chassis components are more inclined to the traditional Japanese standards; front fork of 41mm classic unit set at 25 degrees rake to yield 95mm trail. It has a four-piston caliper, and the front brakes have a single 298mm rotor. The front tires come in 110/70-17 while the rear tire has 140/70-17. The wheelbase has a span of 54.3 inches which makes it adequate and comfortable for two-up ride. With a confidence-inspiring seat height of 30.7 inches, the rider can access the ground by his feet easily.

The YZF-R3 topped the 300cc-class of sport bikes shootout, and this made a strong statement that this model will be a force to reckon in 2016.

The 2016 Yamaha YZF-R3 Specifications

The engine- it is liquid-cooled and has four valves per Cylinder. It has a capacity of 321cc and a compression ratio of 11.2:1. It has a peak torque of 22 lb.-ft at 9000rpm. It produces maximum power of 41.4hp at an incredible 10,750rpm.

It has a diamond-colored frame that is strong enough to safeguard the bike key components

The front brakes have a single hydraulic disc of 298mm while the rear brakes have a single hydraulic disc of 220mm.

This cruiser has an overall length of 82.3 inches, an overall width of 29.3 inches, and an overall height of 40.7 inches.

The bike is expected to be unveiled in April 2016, and the final sale price has not been disclosed yet.
