The 847cc liquid cooled, inline 3-cylinder DOHC 12-valve engine beautifully melds front-line technology including YCC-T and Yamaha D-mode cross-plane crankshaft setup with its linear torque development to deliver the exhilarating, quick-rev engine character of this sporty tourer.

Yamaha Chip-Controlled Throttle, a derivation from MotoGP technology, gets to work in tandem with the standard Traction Control System(TCS) for flawless control and lightning-quick responsiveness under all road conditions.

The FJ-09 comes equipped to the nines; a height-adjustable windshield, 12 Volt electrical outlet, and accommodating 4.8gallon fuel tank makes it ideal for whatever type of outing you have in mind.

A multi-function digital instrument panel set in its lightweight aluminum frame with adjustable handlebars makes for stunningly efficient aesthetics as well as ergonomic flexibility to accommodate riders of varying dimensions.

Double 298mm floating disc front brakes with radial mounted 4-piston calipers and the standard Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) works with the Monocross shock rear suspension positioned below the seat to guarantee superlative riding safety as well as contributing to mass centralization and vehicle body slimming aesthetics. Additionally, the rear suspension is spring reload and rebounding capable.
